Two years after Notre Dame College eliminated its varsity water polo programs, Ohio is back on the NCAA map. Wittenberg University in Springfield has announced it will begin a varsity women’s program to begin play in the spring of 2018. The Tigers will become members of the CWPA and compete at the NCAA Division III level.
Wittenberg’s women’s water polo program will be the 18th in the NCAA Division III, as the team will compete in the spring with the Collegiate Water Polo Association championships held in April.
