A tumultuous prep season in Ohio ended with a familiar outcome. St. Xavier became the first boys team from Ohio to travel to a California in-season tournament, then faced a highly challenging Buckeye State season where the Bombers lagged in the rankings for much of it. It all came together for them on Saturday when the second seed defeated St. Charles of Columbus in a tightly contested title match 13-11.
St. Xavier has now won two boys’ championships in a row while the Upper Arlington girls completed a three-peat a week ago.
Re-live the entire final day of competition as captured by ICRC Tv (championship begins around 8:50).
