The odds already favor a return to the victory stand for the U.S. Women’s Water Polo Team in Rio. They have now bettered those chances by adopting a last minute addition to the squad.
Stand up comedian and Saturday Night Live star Leslie Jones has made her unique mark on these Olympics both from the comfort of her smart phone and more recently from the stands in Rio. Her tweets have become the “go-to” celebrity social media coverage of the games.

Among them was her admiration for the robes adorning U.S. water polo women. Now Jones has completed the circle and will presumably be cheering on her new robe-mates from afar as the team attempts to repeat as Olympic gold medalists.
