Word is out that there’s a youth movement going on at Team USA water polo. Both the men’s and women’s rosters set for the Rio Olympics feature players fresh out of high school.

Except for one. Aria Fischer still has a valid Laguna Beach High School ID and will return from Brazil to complete her senior season for the Breakers. She will also be the youngest woman ever to compete in an Olympic team sport for the USA. No other 17-year old has ever done so.

U.S. women’s water polo team seeks history, as does the squad’s youngest player.
