Rebecca Dabrowski, former member of the McHenry boys water polo situated northwest of Chicago, alleges an opponent sexually assaulted her during a high school match. Dabrowski, currently a member of the Monmouth College women’s team, will appear on ESPN’s Outside the Lines on Sunday to share the experience.

A video preview of the program shows game footage in which contact is highlighted between an athlete appearing to be Dabrowski and a male opponent. Dabrowski called the day of the encounter “probably one of the worst days of my life.”

Officials from the high school are waiting for the program to air before commenting on Dabrowski’s allegations.

McHenry Community High School athletic director Barry Burmeister said Friday the school is unsure exactly what will be contained in an upcoming ESPN report about former athlete Becca Dabrowski, who graduated in 2015.

Dabrowski is currently a sophomore member of the Monmouth College varsity team.
