Johns Hopkins Earns Historic Trip to CWPA Tile Match

Johns Hopkins has extended its superb 20-plus win season with a stunning semi-final win over defending champions Brown at the Collegiate Water Polo Association tournament in Massachusets on Saturday. The victory places the Jays in the conference’s title match versus Princeton, who defeated Harvard to proceed to the final.

Johns Hopkins becomes the first Division 3 program to ever make it to the CWPA finals. The title winner earns an automatic place in December’s NCAA Championship tournament.

The final game takes place at MIT and will be streamed live at 4:00 EST.

The 19th-ranked Johns Hopkins water polo team made history on Saturday afternoon in its 8-7 win over 10th-ranked Brown in the semifinals of the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) Championship. Hopkins became the first Division III team in CWPA history to advance to the conference championship game.
