The youngsters from Cal are living up to preseason expectations. The Bears entered the 2015 men’s water polo season with only three seniors on their traveling roster and a pre-season ranking of third. A 12-10 win over visiting USC on Saturday will likely put them back in that spot after falling to fourth in the Week 8 poll.
The win also puts Cal third in the MPSF standings behind undefeated UCLA and Pacific, who will meet in Westwood at 1:00 PST on Sunday. With the loss USC drops to fourth in the conference with a 5-2 record.
