Salem International Water Polo Announces Signing Class –



SALEM, W.Va. (July 10) – The Salem International University water polo program announced its recruiting class of five National Letter of Intent signees on Friday morning.

Head Coach Rob Bullion and the Tigers open the season September 5-6, when they head to Annapolis, Maryland for a pair of matches against the United States Navel Academy and Fordham. The squad will also play a pair of exhibitions while in Maryland. Salem International will play its home and College Water Polo Association (CWPA) opener on Sept. 19 against Washington & Jefferson.

Bullion on Perry: “Andrew not only brings great goaltender play to the team, but also a history of academic success as well. He will be competing for starting goalie time from the start and will be look to be the future starter after 2012 CWPA Division II Goalie of the Tournament selection, Kristopher Arnold graduates.”

Mateo Kozomara I 6-3 I 165 I Chicago, Ill./Maine East

Bullion on Kozomara: “Mateo is a very versatile player with the skill and body type to help the team at the wing as well as center forward position. He will be a good addition to the team.”

Inigo Velasco I 5-6 I 155 I Madrid, Spain/Colegio San Agustin
