Gannon Seeks Head Men’s & Women’s Water Polo Coach: CWPA

Gannon University is looking for a replacement for Don Sherman, who helped raise the school’s water polo programs to varsity status in 2001. The Slippery Rock grad served as head coach of the Golden Knights men and women a combined 25 seasons. His men’s team won its first CWPA Division II Championship, upsetting rivals Mercyhurst, in 2014. More from the CWPA.

ERIE, Pa. — Gannon University, a Catholic university, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Head Coach for the Men’s & Women’s Water Polo programs.

Gannon’s athletic program includes 20 varsity sports, in which 18 sports compete at the NCAA Division II level.

The men’s program competes in the Collegiate Water Polo Association (CWPA) and the women’s program competes in the Western Water Polo Association (WWPA)…
