Villanova Seeks Women’s Coach: Collegiate Water Polo Association

Villanova finished the 2015 season with 19 wins, the most in Damon Newman’s 10-year tenure as head coach of the Philadelphia-area program. He now moves on as the CWPA has reported that the university is looking for someone to fill that position.

The Wildcats finished their 2015 season with a tight 12-10 consolation-round loss to Newman’s alma mater, Iona, in the MAAC Championships. Their 19-10 record was the best in recent history, a winning percentage of .655.

A 12-month, part-time position is responsible for all aspects of the management and administration of the women’s water polo program. Serve as a positive role model for student-athletes and represent Villanova University in a first class manner. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order.
