Two years after arriving in Pasadena to take over the brainiest varsity water polo squad in the US, Pat Beemer
appears to be out as coach has left his coaching position at Caltech. The school posted an opening for head coach for men’s and women’s water polo at the Southern California school on Tuesday.
Beemer took over for Josh Moser in 2013 and produced 10 wins over two seasons for the men, including seven victories in 2014, the most in at least the last eight seasons for the team. The women continued their perennial struggles, failing to win a match during Beemer’s tenure.
