No. 1 Falls Again – Bruins Take Down Stanford in Westwood

Recent trends would suggest we will have yet another new top ranked men’s varsity team on Wednesday. For the fourth consecutive week the top ranked team has lost and will likely drop at least one spot in the upcoming CWPA poll to be published on Oct. 29.

Gordon Marshall was the man of the match for UCLA on Saturday scoring twice in their tight 7-6 win over visiting Stanford. The Bruins are now poised to retake the top ranking, though second-ranked USC could slide up a position after their own convincing wins over LMU and Pacific.

The two Los Angeles rivals will face one another at USC on Nov. 2, a gam to be covered by the Pac-12 Network.
