Coaches of the Collegiate Water Polo Association have voted to place Princeton in the top spot for this weekend’s three-day Southern Division Championship to be held at the US Naval Academy. The Tigers and the other top three seeds, Bucknell, Mercyhurst, and Johns Hopkins, receive first round byes and won’t play until Saturday, November 9.
Newcomers to the CWPA Monmouth College received a number 10 seed in their first year of competition, just behind Notre Dame of Ohio. Their first round matches pit them against Washington & Jefferson and Gannon, the seven and eight seeds.
The championship match is scheduled for 3:40PM EST on Sunday. See the CWPA’s release on the event for the complete schedule of events. No word yet on whether any of the competition will be streamed live.
