Reports: Hazing Investigation Forces Suspension of Chapman U. Men’s Season

Trent Schlom, Sports Director at Chapman Radio, reported on Saturday via Twitter that the Chapman men’s water polo season had been suspended pending a school investigation in to “hazing.” The Panther, Chapman’s student newspaper, reported in a September 29 story that an incident at the Alpha Phi sorority house on September 8 prompted the Student Affairs investigation.

According to Schlom the team cancelled an upcoming trip after its September 27 match versus Princeton.

Administrators at Chapman have not yet responded to requests for more information on the matter.
