Princeton Takes CWPA Top Spot from Indiana, USC Remains Unanimous No. 1

COLLEGIATE WATER POLO ASSOCIATION — Princeton supplanted Indiana as the top women’s team in the CWPA, and UC San Diego climbed two spots to share 15th after wins over Cal State Northridge, UC Davis, and Indiana in the CWPA’s week nine poll released today. USC remained the unanimous top ranked squad overall for the fourth week standing, followed again by Stanford, Arizona State, UCLA, and Cal.

Due to UC-San Diego’s two position rise to No. 15, the University of California-Davis (21 points) sinks to No. 17, with the University of Michigan (17 points), Hartwick College (12 points) and the University of the Pacific (9 points) rounding out the Top 20.

Claremont-Mudd-Scripps is still on top of the Division III poll and is joined by Grove City, which maintained its top spot in the CWPA Division III rankings.
