Week Two Florida High School Water Polo

Week two is complete in Florida prep water polo. St. Thomas and Ransom are undefeated and remain on top, but much movement elsewhere in the top 16 boys and girls.

Boys

#1 St. Thomas survived a scare to come from behind and maintain their undefeated season with a close win against #2 Belen. Boca Raton jumped from #7 to #3 with big wins against #5 Gulliver, #10 Columbus, and #6 Lake Nona. Rising from #5 to #4 is Dr. Phillips after wins against #10 Columbus and #5 Gulliver. Winter Park moves into the top ten at #9 after close losses against #7 St. Andrews and #5 Gulliver. 11 of the top 16 will be playing against this weekend in the Saint Andrew’s Invitational.

Girls

#1 Ransom held on to their undefeated season with wins against #3 Winter Park, #4 Lake Nona, and #7 Boca Raton. Gulliver had impressive wins against #3 Winter Park and #5 Dr. Phillips. #5 Dr. Phillips leap frogged over #6 St. Andrews after beating them late in the week. #7 Olympia defeated #8 Boca to take over their spot on the list. 8 of the top 10 teams will play this weekend in the Saint Andrew’s Invitational.
